Well begun, well done. 1.Lots of water needed to make the impressions, 2. Dry and ready to be sanded, 3. Sanding is done - removed the puckers from pressing the stamps into the plaster, 4. Two coats of a type of "varnish" - polymer gloss medium. Ready to add the three layers of color!

My color work on the Cream Ridge Winery piece is nearing completion. I have learned much from the experience of making the piece and from feedback from Tim at the Winery. Today I will start the final version (and this version will most likely be in my February exhibit at the Gmeiner in Wellsboro, PA.)

I had the pleasure this past week of teaching a class at Gayle Hill's Art Camp here at Mansfield University. This was a great class of hard working and talented students ranging from 13 to 18 years of age. Each student made five pieces - a couple of quite small ones and three medium sized works.
